What Ram/ Accelerator for 1D1 1200 ?

Got a stock 1200 a short while back and quickly find myself at the point of needing more memory.
It's a revision 1D1 1200 which according to older threads did not need any timing fixes for past cards.

Yet, recent reports from ACA1232 buyers suggest it does for that card.
I'd like to just buy a memory card or accelerator that works out of the box.

Anyone with a 1D1 board comment ...

Should I rule out both the 1232 and 1220?
Does AmigaKit offer refunds if the 1232 or 1220 does not work without a hardware fix?

I too was in the same position as you, I was in the process of getting an ACA1232, but because of all these confounded timing issues (and after some kind advice from peeps here at EAB) I decided to get a Blizzard 1230 instead. It may be harder to get and may cost a wee bit more, but it does not suffer from the timing problems. Mine had been behaving now for about 1 month with no issues what so ever.
