Hi, from an from an old Amiga user returning to the fold
Hi all, I'd like to introduce myself and say hello to my fellow Amiga fans.
My name is Steve and live in south west London. I recently dug my old Amiga 600 out of the loft after seeing CF card adapters on ebay, everything seems to be working fine which was a pleasant surprise to me as it hasn't been fired up since probably 1998. I've had quite a few woes trying to format the card in Winuae which I will go into more on a more appropriate thread. The A600 runs Magic Workbench well on it's original HD and has an Apollo 620 with 8mb of extra ram. I just need to sort this CF card out and hopefully be able to clone my original HD over to it. All the best from me and happy Amigaring! |

Thanks chip.
I've had a bit more of a dig around up in the loft, I'd forgotten how much stuff we collected over the years. Pretty gobsmacked actually. |

2 x 500, 2 x 600 and a 1200 with blizzard MKIV and scsi kit.
There's other stuff up there as well, a Commodore inkjet printer, 1084 monitor, scsi cd drive and probably a few things I've forgotten about. I'm going to open up the 1200 to give it a visual check and maybe fire it up tonight. :-) |

Nice collection.
It's funny how seeing an A1200 these days get's me excited for getting one as an "upgrade" even though I never owned one back in the day. To me it's "old new" tech lol. |
