Amiga Guitar Cover Videos (Shameless plug for my YouTube Channel)
Hi all,
I'm not normally one for spamming but thought these might go down well here. Here's the link - www.youtube.com/retrogeet - there's some Amiga ones on there, if you feel like it then have a look Cheers, Tom |

Cheers guys
I'd love to do Wizball but there are already sooooooo many covers of it on YouTube, I don't think I'd be able to better any of them. I mean, how can I compete with this? [ Show youtube player ] |

Haha just came here to plug my new video and someone's already done it for me, thanks!
Can't talk all the credit though, DevilDevineOfficial arranged both guitar parts and plays the main melody so a big shout out must go to him Trying to drive some support for the Rocket Ranger Reloaded Kickstarter. Has everyone here pledged? (well at least people who enjoyed Cinemaware titles) |

Evening all.
Thought some of you might be interested in this. If you've got any music you'd like to see covered then leave it in the comments of this video and at some point I'll pick one at random and record it [ Show youtube player ] |

Welcome back Tom,
Thanks for sharing your work with us, I have put up my two cents worth I do have a couple of questions - 1.) how long do these video's take to make? 2.) what recording tools (audio) do you use? 3.) what editing software (audio / video) do you use? Thanks again - I look forward to your next update =D |

Thanks Zetr0! I should've mentioned before, only one suggestion per person please
Completely depends, I'd guess between 20-40 hours on average. The last cover I did took me around 100 hours (if not more ) but that was a six and a half minute prog rock song, so I suppose that's understandable haha. I have an M-Audio MobilePre as my USB interface. That's about it for hardware, just plug my guitar straight into that. If there's any keyboards then I use my M-Audio Keystation. I'm using Cubase as my DAW (audio editor). I use EZDrummer/EZDrummer 2 to program the drum track and Guitar Rig or Amplitube to process the guitars. If I need to run any samples then I use Reason with my midi keyboard. Have used Pinnacle Studio as my video editor for all but my latest video. Recently got Sony Vegas and have been learning to use that. Now that I'm used to it, it seems a lot lot easier to sync the tracks together so hopefully going forward the process will be a lot quicker (at least the video editing will be). Would definitely recommend Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere if anyone is starting out. Bit more of a learning curve but once you've picked it up it's sooooooo much easier |
