You can play it on any AGA Amiga with 2x CD-ROM, too.

Requested Disc does not work on a Real CD32.

The "Press Blue Button Screen" does not appear.

Then 2 minutes after start it Crashes with a "cdgsxl/cd2xspeed is not executable/bad loadfile hunk and even PicBoot could not open aacp.iff"

The Disc 'works' with WinUAE so it cannot be a 'Bad Burn'
- Although I could not select the OVA by Blue Button.

Bye the way the Bonus Episode was in Japanese,
played on Virtual Workbench.

Damn! So it doesn't work at all? So strange, the content of CD and the startup-sequence are so simple, at least quite simple like the others CD... it seems that your CD32 can not be able to load correctly the data inside the CD...

Has anyone else tried it?

Nobby, on WINUAE did you get this screen on startup?

Re-tried playing the OVA with WinUAE
and now it worked

I removed my GamePad and set it for Keyboard,
but it did not work --- but I have since Reset
and now it does

Tried a couple more Discs:
Burned at Slowest Speed
One with Nero and One with Img-Burn
Second Disc from the Middle of the Stack

Results = The Same
'Press Blue Button' might show up But Crash is always the Result.

Finally got one to work
But the OVA playback was Choppy

As for “Spirited Away”
I have that on DVD
I only did the first (and requested) episode
of High School Of The Dead for the Novelty.

I think there be some problems on iso file: I see that the properties of some files are different than the same files on the others CD...

dunno how it happened (maybe some strange issues with WinUae, AmigaOs 3.1 and big windows partition), I'll try to correct it.

I'll not ask you to waste any others CD for me

, since I have purchased a new CD32 and should get me in days!

I suspect duff discs, which my PC Drive can read
(it reads almost anything)
But the CD32s drive cannot.

But the choppiness could be an encoding / playback error...
If it was present under emulation I would not know
as all emulated sound is Choppy on my PC.

I think (unfortunately) that CD player of cd32 can not correctly play a different stream than 150 or 300 KB/s... currently, the stream of OVA is set to 250 KB/s... under emulation (probably) the stream is smooth thanks to the Windows cache when reading the CD-ROM.
