Is it possible to map the soundblaster gameport to a joystick device?

I'm trying to play wing commander 2 and its not the easiest to control by keyboard. It also seems to be auto firing and I need to hold the O key to stop it, but that's a whole other issue

I already replied few pages ago. It is not really worth the trouble because it would require lots of new input events and more to make it usable. PC port also only works with analog joysticks which requires even more configuration logic.

It is much easier to use "real" PC emulator to play PC games.

Rancho Technology RT1000 8-bit SCSI adapter emulation added. Very basic 53C400 based controller. PCem emulates it but my version uses existing UAE code only, 53C400 was already emulated (RocHard RH800C). Which was my main requirement.

Very minimal testing: drive is detected at boot. Didn't bother with partitioning or formatting..

The hdd are detect, but i have the problem ( how you have signed), my test:

Boot disk Dos 6.22 + RT1000 8-bit SCSI + HDD 100Mb = Fdisk create partition , but after reboot the partion disappears; i try to re-create but after reboot always disappears.

It looks like writes fail for some reason (driver issues SCSI reset before write finishes).

"....If this host adapter has a BIOS, it MUST be RTBios version 8.20 or later.
default address used by RTASPI10.SYS, simply use the following command line"

DEVICE=C:\RT1000C\RTASPI10.SYS /ADD=DC00

or

DEVICE=C:\RT1000C\RTASPI10.SYS /ADD=DC000

(always don't detect)

I think this is not a specific problem of WinUAE.
The same problem exist with the PCem too and on the hardware.

That post requests for XT compatible ASPI driver because only known ASPI requires 80286 or better. It is not same problem.

I won't, it still may be true (or not). Or a bug.

I only corrected your reply because you said it is normal that it does not work (including real hardware) but link only says it is normal when system is XT. No one said if it works with 80286+ '

did you download the ASPI-Manager from http://ibm-pc.org/drivers/scsi/RT1000.zip?

There is a program for diagnose and partitioning called RTUTIL.EXE included. Did you tried this? Does it show your SCSI-Controller and attached hardfile correctly?

For All,
with RTASPI1C.sys i have specif error, how into attach file:

Install Failed: Error Code = 4004



For now i don't find the code how error is, maybe if we understand the mistake, can solve the problem.
