Best to use the Quickstart option using the A500 & 1.3 ROM, OCS, 512KB chip + 512KB Slow RAM (most common) configuration as dannypet has mentioned this is quite on old game and with this config shouldn't be a problem

Welcome to EAB

Hi nzgirl,

welcome to the EAB
Do you mean 'Save state...' with 'when I save'? So the game works fine before, but once you return after making a savestate the screen stays red?

Hey Guys

Thanks for the reply's

Dannypet - I'm using 1.3 :S
Demonhellraiser - thanks umm yeah ya lost me at configure...
Thecyberdruid - It will happen and if I get back to the same point using save state it happens again.

Could all be my configuration, I have no idea what the options mean. Followed instructions to set it up first time...
Like I said not very emu orientated!

Well done TCD, I was already there but had to install my capture program, so I was too slow.

Enable the 'Start in quickstart mode' checkbox and don't click on any other window for now Believe me it's the best way until you know what the other things are all about...
Which version do you use and when does the error happen? If it's right at the start I can test it here

@DH
I always use 'Alt + Print Screen' and Paint

Ok can try the quickstart way - my configs were set to that - but the red screen is in a save state, so do I just go quickstart insert disc and try again? (Red screen was at stage 16 lol) Can I open a state that way?

Yeah I had trouble with the screen going small and changed display to hires / double and it fixed it.. Version of Winuae? where do I find that out? Sorry guys!

No, then your savestate is broken If you have no older savestate I think you have to play it again. Always use at least two savestates from now on

All the different savestates give you the red screen? That's strange. However I don't think you have broken your emu

@nzgirl

Just uploaded the Gremlin cracked version into the Zone. Can you try this one with your save states?
