JOTD's whdload package for Gods has second fire jump already, though the CD32 ISO of Galahad's version should be on the FTP server if you wanted to try that on a real CD32.

Oops, didn't see question had been answered already.

UN Squadron has a terrible framerate. I remember you hacked it but was it enough?

Pity we don't have source code for Tiertex games, as we could convert them and use the blitter... They were criticized for their direct ST ports but believe me, creating an amiga game that runs on A500 isn't an easy task. If you don't use the blitter, it can really be challenging.

Heh. The hack was actually just to slow everything down - everything looks much smoother when things are scrolling at 2 pixels per frame than 3. It did (IMO) make the game more enjoyable though.

And yeah, that's fair enough.. with Tiertex, I figure that the real problem was more the tight deadlines and the "ST first" focus than the talent of the coders.

if we can clone a thousand McGeezers, we'd have the entire MAME library ported to Amiga in no time

Ikari Warriors seems to use space bar to lock fire direction (enable/disable)
It will be great if it could be assigned to another button or to "fire keep pressed"
It can litteraly change gameplay to as it is in Shock Troopers

EDIT: Keep fire pressed is used to launch bomb or enter vehicles so it will not be easy......

I already remapped keep fire pressed to blue button in commando. I guess another button could be used to simulate space.

Stingray did the last version so there's the source available. I may have a shot at this.

commando != ikari warriors

=====

I'd love to put in a request for Zool 2 in general - AGA version.

CD32 native version seems to (maybe just under emulaton?) have some pretty horrific blitter bugs. AGA version seems to lack second fire jump, so that'd be great to have - the CD32 exclusive "paper plains" levels would be a nice bonus if at all possible!

Another Request : Flimbo's Quest

Asks to press F1 or F2 to start game or intro
and if possible, a jump button will be perfect

EDIT: Sorry, i already asked about this one, i'm in low memory state

Ok, thanks
It's easier than to check the 150 posts if it's already requested or not.

EDIT: No, it's not easier
I've add a request on mantis but it has been assigned for Bubble Bobble instead
of Flimbo's quest and i can't delete it . I should go to bed now...

haha ok: complete failure. Specially because I cannot reassign the issue to another game. Don't worry, I'm going to look at flimbos. Anyway it seems that I had that noted down in a memo:

Flimbo's Quest : Need to press F1 or F2 to start the game , a jump button can be done but not necessary (playable without, BTW, nice item finding game)

I know Exile was only just released on whdload but could each cd32 pad button perform a different action. Curently red and green are the only ones used?

Also with Pinball Fantasies, could the buttons be mapped differently? e.g. the shoulder pad buttons used as the left and right flipper instead?
