The intro music, especially the start of it, never fails to get me excited or hyped up.

I'm going to be slightly controversial here.. but Huelsbeck wouldn't probably even make my top 30 of Amiga musicians

I hope you didn't go Bene Gesserit* and chose your wife and your daughter/son's husband/wife so that their son got the best genes to play the great bath on the piano. The Kwisatz Huelsberach?

Easy now Misclegend... your post was not very appropriate (that's putting it very mildly) and has been removed.

Both the intro and the ending were showing full fledged the 7 channels sound routine before the full culmination that was Apidya Ending song

I had to think about it for a long time. I have different answers for different mediums.
In-game: It's got to be the L1-1 track, the title of which escapes me. It's iconic to me, the first track you hear after the title screen and it cements the Turrican 2 experience. However... 1-2 (the Desert Rocks I believe) is a close contender. On the orginal Huelsbeck Turrican Soundtrack: the Walker Factory, a mix of L4-1 and L4-2. Such a cool track. It's good in-game too but there is something about the soundtrack version. On the Turrican orchestral album: yeah probably the Great Bath. It already was a very melodic tune, it only becomes better. |

L1-2 "Traps" is one of my favorites, as is L3-1 "Concerto for Lasers and Enemies". Have a soft spot for L4-2 "Mr. Walker and his Factory" as well.
That said, I like/love most of T2's music, so consider these my picks for the best. The only controversial pick for me would be "The Great Bath", as I'd not actually rate it closer to the bottom of the list. Doesn't mean it's a bad track by any means, merely that I like the others even better |
