Well, I'd argue that it's a wire and not a cable anyway
Umm they are the same thing in this case as the "wire" has "shielding" so that would make it an insulated wire = cable..

@attila06: There's a permanent link to the SuperPlus driver on A1k: Ratte's screen driver thread.

I know you posted recently that the cores arent ready yet, but you can tease us with any progress reports? Like 50hz working or we managed to get x screenmode perfect, etc (or even blew up 2 boards today or some such report ) Thanks alot look forward to fully using the nice MK2 soon. (the lack of NTSC screenmodes is making me cry myself to sleep )

I do not know if this is already known but some Demos crash at the end when indivision is pluged, when not no crash...

2 exemples : spaceball, Kioea by Mad Wizards (Revision 2012) ...

One exemple is spaceball.

Yeah I got a couple of crashes with demos that work prior to install of mk2. But most do work.

It could possibly be low Chip RAM if you are running at higher resolutions on the MKll, can't see how a scandoubler on it's own could crash a game or demo but who knows?

Akiko

No, I've booted with no startup with 1.8 chip (some demos wont run on less) so its not chipram problems or screenmodes as i'm running from Shell in PAL

And which demos exactly crash that way? Since I watch demos quite often and didn't encounter this problem yet.

@lolof
Hmm sorry, Kioea by Mad Wizards (Revision 2012) works perfectly for me. IMHO it's not an indivision problem.

Edit: Use the early startup et launch the demo with the CLI...or use Tiny Launcher
At parties, demos are launched from the CLI. Not the Workbench.
Maybe you do not have enough chip and it's not an Indivision issue.

Both work fine for me, and I have the MK2 indi connected.

Mr S, any idea when the cores will be ready, cause I'd love to be able to start using my indi MK2 without wierd borders on at least one of my LCD monitors?

Maybe this questions has already been answered but can someone tell me what the 34 pins female black connector located along the Lisa "clip" connector is ???

Thank you.

I can't find any information for this "extension" on the manual of my Indivision MKII and on my A1200 there is no corresponding male connector...

@johnim: OK, thanks.

*** Edit due to mix between DVI and HDMI :-P ***

I have installed the Indivision AGA MKii and connected the Amiga 1200 on a 19" Samsung LCD TV model UE19D4000 (perfect with Indi ECS for my A600) and the result is mitigated in the following 2 configurations :

1) DVI: lots of vertical stripes are visible with the DVI output which enters into the TV through VGA with DVI/VGA adaptor. Centering of the picture is acceptable in 4:3 mode, as far as I can see.

2) HDMI: with keeper2k adaptor board and special cable my screen remains black and TV asks for a signal. Doesn't work at all...

Note: the SCART connection on the same TV, through the RGB23 pin direct video output of the Amiga (with or without Indiviion installed on the motherboard) is absolutely perfect : no flickering and no vertical stripe at all !).

OK, will do...

But I'm just trying to get the boot image of the Amiga... no CF card installed yet.

So I need to start the workbench to see something ?

What about games then ?
