In general note that there are many ways to solve each level. Usually if a solution you are trying tends to lean too much on the luck factor it usually means it's not the ideal one.

Yup, crazy / challenging game... and one that my skill level is definitely not up to.

So I watched hipoonios's YouTube video from level 32 onwards (27:40)... absolutely crazy skills

By the way I didn't mention it but Damien setted up the game with an A1200 config. The game works fine on a A500 config if you need (like my netbook) a better "emulation experience"

Although having played this for only an hour in total I've dreamt of having to evade four red Pacman-ghosts last night.

Really cool game !
Contrary to what have been said this and there, it's not a too hard game (maybe because I like puzzle games). I mean, with a little training it's easy not to loose a single life (up to the level I'm at now - not yet finished the game) and you can quite easily win beers (hips ).

On the opposite, finishing the levels with a 'Perfect' is the real challenge... Challenge that I didn't succeed so far and that may lead you in making mistakes and loosing lives . Thus I prefer safety and first 'Perfect' fail at level 11 (level 11 is also for me the first level where I may possibly loose a life for another reason - this blue bob is running really fast and my keyboard seems not responsive enough sometimes - Ah, those wireless connections ...).

I really do appreciate that the game allows you to take your time to finish a level. It happens too many times that nice games are killed by unnecessary difficulties. Thanks for this guys !

Anyway, time for a score post. I didn't drink all the beer and quitted the game at level 17 : 24'802

One play per day. It's a much better time killer than Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters (for WoW Classic waiting queues).

Nice John. Score is growing ! I think you managed to success level 14 ?
And I fully agree. The game is so well realised that returning to it every day is really easy.

Today was a better as well as a worst play
Better up to level 17 as I managed to "Perfect" some levels where usually it miss me several seconds (finished them with 1 second left).
Worst on level 18 because I almost loose all my beers there
And 'Game Over' on level 19 : 27'348

Tsak, I am approaching your score... ~1.4K to go.
Do you want to do better before I go in front ?

Here's my second game over

First game I didn't get very far as I didn't clock you have to press fire to swing the sword. For some reason I assumed I'd just be able to run in to the baddies to run them through with it

Really I hope I get more time to play this month because seems like a neat game!

Teasing me huh?
Nope, I'd better not. Tough choice to favor EAB or Lemon in this fight

Did you managed a perfect on level 11 yet?

SO, that's my early stumbling block also. In fact our scores are very close! I can commit much of the proviso 6 levels to (sort of) memory, but when I get to 7 I come un stuck!

Without giving you a solution, if you want a hint (I think this hint is in the manual, so it's not really a spoiler).

If the enemies have not seen you, they have no idea you are there, and therefore will not track you. Stay out of sight wherever possible, and things should become much easier.

This lesson will serve you well in later levels.

No. I think I know how to do it but this blue bob is gluing my back too closely. If I do not turn with real precision I got eaten. Thus I cannot, as I think, get the upper right diamond while running. And coming back after having killed the blue bob doesn't let me enough time to score a "perfect".

Actually, in a good go, I am able to "perfect" (sometimes with only 1 second left I have to admit - but it's a "perfect" anyway ) levels 1-10; 12-13 & 16.
I am close from finishing level 19. In fact, already succeeded it but I still miss the 100% strategy for each go (play only once per day so I am not going fast...).
