Valiumhunt

Just found a disk with a little Boulder Dash-clone I made back in 95 called Valiumhunt. Seems to be functional, also it has a level editor and everything.

Check the video for a little teaser. I will also upload the disk with source code and everything to the zone if you want to check it out.

Cool, would be interesting to try this out.

What language did you write the game in?

Hi Nogg,

looks interesting. It would be cool if you could upload the whole package to the zone.

@Graham: It's written in assembler, used AsmOne on a Amiga 500.

@TheCyberDruid: It's there. Enjoy.

Some instructions may be useful:

After boot command vh takes you to the VH shell.

the shell holds 10 memory banks for levels which are accessed with:

L0 - loads level from file to bank 0
E0 - edits bank 0, right mouse button exits.
P0 - plays level in bank 0, left mouse button exits.
S0 - saves bank 0 to a file.

0 can be exchanged with 1-9 to access the other mem banks.

Thanks Nogg!

Will try it this evening. Have some asm code (mainly from Scorpius software), but good to have more sources. Since I learnt C to first and tried to cope with asm later it's always a bit difficult to start without examples.
btw : Surely I will play and edit your game nonetheless
