omg sanDae, do u live here for the past 48 hours
first things first, an adf is ALLWAYS 880kb because its an image of an amiga diskette, u can offcoz compress it with zip,lha whatever u prefer to make it smaller but that in return requires u to unzip/whatever on amigaside to transfer it back, dms on the other hand compresses your image "on the fly", but sometimes not enough and u can split your packed files over more disks for pc=>amiga transfer, but i cant remember how i did it back then, but try google something like splitting zip files (I knew this would come back to bite me ) just use the pulldown menu's on your workbench and click "show all files" that would reveal your C drawer or use the shell/cli and dh0:c to get there assuming your harddrives device number is dh0: offcoz get it ? |

allmost forgot, it doesnt matter where u place your .adf files or any files for that matter, as long as u remember yourself, but the reason u want like transadf and dms in your C drawer is because your amiga looks there for available shell/cli commands, making tranadf and dms available to u by just calling it
pretty easy when u get into the works of it and very nice way to expand your os at your own pace.....at least i think so |

Why are you using ACE to UNLHA? USE LHA!!!! Get this file, copy it to a disk and install it in your hard drive: http://aminet.net/util/arc/lha.run Then open a shell or if you are in one already, type "lha.run" and it will install LHA in yoru hard drive. |
