RNOEffects 1.4 released - Now for OS3 too

- Images can be saved as AmigaOS, NewIcons, GlowIcons, OS4, PNG, and DualPNG icons with configurable properties that include icon type, tooltypes, selected image, default tool, stack, position, drawer properties, etc.
- Added the "Freehand" drawing mode
- Added the "Opacity map" effect for creating and inserting B&W opacity map images of alpha channels
- Added the "ARexx" effect to launch ARexx scripts within the program
- Added an example ARexx script
- Better text editing/importing/exporting options for the text drawing effect
- Draw and crop effects can be positioned with the mouse
- Re-designed the line effect and added an arrowhead option
- Added buttons and keys to load next and previous pictures in the directory
- Added the undo levels setting
- Added the redo option
- Removed overlapping keyboard shortcuts for copy/cut/paste operations
- Fixed pathless file arguments
- Safer error handling
- Other changes and fixes

Looks good, working well on OS3, hoping a future version will have a filter to specifically reduce colors and remap to Magic Workbench Palette 8 color, or 16 color.

Thanks for testing. There's the Quantize effect which can be used to reduce colors to between 1 and 256. Dithering can also be applied on the process. No MWB remapping though..

yeah previously i used the Image/Mode/Indexed option in Gimp, and selected a MWB palette, but the results are often pretty shabby looking for many images, thought maybe a filter here with MWB in mind might have yielded better some results.

nm, tho, still playing around, got a lot of varied wb pictures/patterns to messa round with, deffo interested in the batch options, going to play with those a lot.

Keeps asking for something different every time I try to run, first it was Codeset.library, managed to get it, and now something else with mcc at the end of it. Looks like it will be great, but I've not the time to hunt everything down to get it started.

Hopefully I can soon

Please read the Requirements section in the ReadMe.txt file. It even contains links to everything it needs for your comfort, so no need to hunt anything down

Well, that didn't go to plan. found the latest version of that text editor on Aminet, trying to install it does nothing but crash the system.

The Text Editor required by RNO, it's Text Editor mcc

I'm running an A1200 with OS 3.1, 030@50, 32 Meg Fast and MUI 3.8 but MUI is unregistered.

I'm 68k and I download the 68k version, so it's the correct one.
