I do not know. It is the same story like Putty Squad. Okay, PS was finally surprisingly released, but all the facts around Babylonian Twins really resembles that: I am not sure if the only way how to release BT is to pay 15-30 USD for collectors edition. It is like when Mark Cale tried to apologize for not releasing PS because of the lack of floppies.

You know i haven't the same feeling but just the future can tell us.
A collector edition with a big box could be a good choice.
Like a little gem in your collection.
Personnaly i like the game and i would like to have the full version even ready to pay for a collector version.

Not the right approach imo. A collectors edition should be the alternative for later. A digital download is prepared in a few days, i would pay 5 Euro for it. Then they could think about an expensive boxed edition for die hard Amiga collectors.

no problem Retro-Nerd, i just suscribe and send an email about the possibility of a digital version.
Perhaps if enough guys subscribe and ask for a digital version we could have at least one of the two or perhaps if we are lucky the two choices.
They opened the door , we have to react. Or we will have nothing. They could perhaps change their mind and will choose the same way than system 3.

Exactly. And this is also the way how Chaos guns (now under development) shall be released.

A digital download is all it takes, there's no need for floppy disks, this is the 21st century after all.

Easy peasy, you just write the images back to floppy disks or use an HxC or similar.

I know, I was just pointing out you might need floppies on a real Amiga

If there are ADF's available, just like Putty Squad, that takes care of real Amigas as well.

I subbed...
That's not a bad target price for a Collector's Edition of anything nowadays.. ;-)

I'm actually not worried about there being a floppy (I realize getting a hold of and dealing with floppies might be a hassle nowadays), as I have a bunch and can make my own copies.

A floppy label (printed and included would be a nice touch I think, even for people not wanting to put it on a floppy, but even a printable "official" one), manual and box would be great..
And I've seen some homebrew guys do boxes where they ship them flat and the users fold them into the box form themselves. Makes shipping much easier / less expensive.

Problem I see with that is that those homebrew boxes seem to usually cost a lot of money, just for the box.

I suppose it's all about quantity at that stage..

The c64 community still have new boxed games, why not the amiga ???
Even if i understand the need of an option for a digital release.
Anyway, boxed game, digital, tape , anything you want but the amiga community deserve to have more new games !
