I don't remember details anymore but i think those values were for 40MHz version that the driver was first optimized. Zeus unfortunately shares same crystal with CPU and SCSI. Most other boards have separate SCSI crystal.
56MHz would require: 2=1.5,3=3 (but 0=2 probably also works),0 |

Not to wake up age old threads, but this work is pretty fascinating. Chris H was reminding me that in order for the card to reach full speed on the Zorro III bus, programming the burst register correctly is significant: "If the 53C710 is directly on the processor bus, that programming burst mode matters less, but because Zorro has such high request/ack latency (along with arbitration by the 7.14MHz clock), that it's a big penalty to have to go through another request cycle."
