Xbox 360 Installing to 128 GB USB ???

Having trouble Installing (Xbox 360 Games)
to a 128 GB USB thumb-drive.

They all start to install --- Very Slowly
but at a certain point
(44% for one, 22% for two others)
they stop ---
Cancel still works but takes a while.

Re-did those games on a 64 GB stick
and all was good. Weird

I scanned the sticks with 'FAKEFLASHTEST v1.1.5'
and they both pass.

Sounds like your 128gb is bad...

I have a 5tb ext that behaves the same way on a different platform from x360. Windows Scan shows working. But hdd transfer speeds are ungodly slow and sometimes stops transferring...

Never tried external storage on my 360. When you first plug it in does it say it needs to format it like with a later Xbox One? If not then it might be FAT32 and so 2GB file size limit or something odd?

Regardless, perhaps try a format/initialize/whatever the option is when plugged into the 360

Yes you have to format it ---
it uses the FatX format.

But it looks like it is bad

I tried to copy a DVD on to it and it
'dismounted' half way through !

Tested again with FakeTest and it Failed !

Currently copying some films to it
and it is stuck on the 3rd one:
Time remaining just gone up to 7 mins
@ 5.4 MB/sec = Ridiculous

Now says 22 mins remaining @ 3.57 MB/sec
