...The discussion where he claimed that it's incredibly easy to disassemble the Kickstart we had in February this year... Make up your own mind about his abilities.
Sorry Stingray but i dont agree with you...
How much disassemble can you do with a burnette sited on your lap?Clearly the problem here is the burnette...she´s was distracting Mr Gunnar for a few months.

Well, it can be, but i look forward to see this Natami project soon, for the sake of all Amiga users around the world. Amiga is great and this project can bring back the good old days, fingers crossed, let´s really hope so!

So do I, as said already, I wish the Natami hw developer the best of luck! And I didn't mean the project as such with fake. I should have said it better: "and as fake as everything else that surrounds BigGun".

So, to make it clear:
NatAmi: yay!
BigGun: nay!

LOL
You know how this works, most brilliant minds rarely take credit for their work, this creates a gap that is usually filled by "some guys"...Probably much of his accomplishments were "team work", but the other members of his team just dont want or dont give a damn about protagonism!

Hi Stingray,

Edit: And I just tried it myself using good old ReSource. But just to create a plain disassembly which can be assembled (which I would not even dare to call a GOOD disassembly) I need a lot more than 3 minutes. How did you manage to do it in 3 minutes? (just curious)
I know that the source for (3.0) 39.106 "escaped" into the wild, probably still have a copy of it here somewhere..

Think that 3mins would not be *too* difficult if you already had MACROS setup that knew how to deal with ROM-RESIDENT and LIBRARY structures.
Source would make very little sense, but at least it would be re-assembleable (is that even a word?).

It would take considerably longer to have a source file which you could start making worthwhile modifications to.

Just my two-penneths worth.

Rodolphe Czuba, maker of the CT60, is in touch with the Natami team. Unfortunately, he won't have time to help them.

You can get some words here: http://groups.google.fr/group/fr.com...c476505?hl=fr#

Sure
Heh, it will magically do something no software exists for and hence no real Amiga, indeed no computer at all, can do?

That is correct, it is currently impossible. And the Natami will not make it any more (or less; if it comes to be) possible. It is not possible, because SPS does not provide software or technical details to do it, and it might in fact be technically impossible, because of the nature of the various copy protection schemes, without special hardware, as I understand it.

Somewhat (though not completely) related information here: http://www.softpres.org/faq:disk_images:converting

Not to be negative, and I personally have no opinion on the future of the project as such, but this is a careless, empty promise, I'm afraid.

Edit: Either that, or a technicality, like "if a real Amiga could do it, we could do it too", but even if that was true, the way the question has been asked and answered, it's still false advertising.

Maybe the natami is capable of doing this on purely hardware point of view.
