@KTC
Yes, The opening of the logfile wasn't in the best position, so it was trying to open it again... @Emuola Yes I probably did something stupid Well...I going to drop another bin. In this one -The log file should be fixed. -The buffer isn't used anymore for the 1st level scan (means no more crash on huge list). As you have seen in my video, the beta39 doesn't crash anymore for me while scanning on classic workbench. |

@Gibs
Did not mean it personally @all I just installed ClassicWBLite in Winuae and TL works without any problems! Scanning 2061 slaves and launching appr ten different games worked like a charm. It could be that there's something extra in ClassicWBFull compared to ClassicWBLite that screwes the TL. Unfortunately I cannor remember what options I chose while installing (there are a few ones). Just though I'd let you know. Might be a dead end. |

b40 still crashes when launching a game in ClassicWBFull, but works in ClassicWBLite. I tried to disable all the "extra" stuff in ClassicWBFull, but it did not help. Weird. Tested in latest Winuae, will try with real A1200 when I get back home. |

when it doesn't launch, exit TL go in the ram drive, you should find the script runme.tl Try to launch it from the wb shell : execute runme.tl @wizard Try to Delete s:tinylauncher dir before starting b40 |

In b40 when I remove the TinyLauncher directory from S:, it crashes on launch. If I create the directory or remove all the files, it works fine. This is not an issue b38.

I can build the database correctly without running out of buffer for all my stuff now (1 level structure)!
Fastnav works past the 1000 mark too, but still has the joystick/keyboard activation issue. If this is fixed and you add arrow/joystick down to cancel fastnav, it will be perfect By the way, the old problem with "Out of variable space" when navigating through the long list with arrow/joystick right, is still there. If I use fastnav to get to some of the later letters where it crashes using the arrow/joystick right, it works just fine. Engaging RAD still returns a "Device not available" on game exit. Any ideas on that one? |

I tried installing the latest ClassicWB Lite and when I ran 9Fingers through Tiny Launcher 2.2b40 from Workbench it worked.
I then tried putting Tiny Launcher early in my startup-sequence, and when I tried to launch 9Fingers there, it failed! But this means I could find a way to narrow it down Well, after a lot of experiments, commenting stuff out and messing around with settings, I finally tracked the problem down! Solution: You have to launch "C:Newicons" before you run Tiny Launcher for the KG packs to launch properly with tool types and all. @gibs I don't know if you are going to require people to launch NewIcons executable for this to work or if you are going to find another solution, but now you have my workaround. |

Very cool launcher you have there mate, I usually work with iGame since ages, but I would like to try your TinyLauncher too. Is there any guide for installation, or you just copy the executable file where you want? How TL finds the correct paths for specific games/demos etc? Do I have to separate them in different drawers? Thanks in advance. |
