I have a relative who seems interested in this but has a MAC. Is it possible to use this collection on a mac? If so how?

Hey Damien,
first of all thanks again for your endeavours for the Amiga community, I'm here to ask you for a mighty weird request but in my opinion it might be useful ont only to me but to all out there.....Can you send me/us a list of all amiga new games/payable sold all over the web that for legally reasons you could have never added to your collections so to go and download/request them all through a regular payment to the authors and have a real complete collections?.....e.g.: the dreams of rowan, tiger claw etc etc..... Someone may find this odd but I think that here and there we may pick up interesting games and take advantage of your awesome job of configuration files and images too.... Many thanks in advance for it!!! Cheers |

I'm no Mac / FS-UAE expert so can't really comment... but from what I've read, he / she could use "Wine" in order to be able to run WinUAE on a Mac.
Failing that; I mean, you can still use the game files but the configuration files would need adjusting for FS-UAE's syntax. Maybe there's a "WinUAE configuration file" --> "FS-UAE configuration file" convertor available somewhere? That's about all the suggestions I can give you; sorry... but further than that, I don't really know or care... I've spent enough time getting everything setup in WinUAE on a PC... I don't want to be supporting Mac users also; unfortunately I have to do that at work damn it Last edited by DamienD; 13 December 2018 at 19:05. |

Any Backbone made games; they need to be something very special but even still... worth paying for; IMHO not really... The guys who make Backbone games really need to find proper coders to work with and not make stuff in limited / shit game making programs... but maybe that's just my opinion. |
