Pacman clone "Footman"
Anyone have a copy of Footman (Great Pacman clone released in 1988 I think)? It is my wifes fav game and my floppy version is now bad. If someone could please u/l it. Hopfully it has been AGA, Harddrive and OS 3.1 fixed by now. Thanks in advance for you help.
Sorry for the repeat, I put this request in the wrong forum the first time. |

Yes, I always loved this game, too. Talk about an elusive original to find! Has anyone out there seen an original for sale anywhere of this great game? I have originals of three or four other games from TopDown, just haven't been able to get my hands on this one.

What other games has TopDown done? I thought Footman was the only one.

Well, they also did Space Knight (1989) and Vyper (1988), and I am pretty sure Hybris (which was published by Discovery later).

The only one I saw on that page for sale was Vyper (which I have two originals of...a US copy and a Canadian copy) but no Footman.
Oh, and I don't think Hybris is the other title I was thinking of, after giving it more thought. |

I always thought Footman was the far superior Pac-Man game myself.
Question though ... Was the player always "faster" moving until the other "ghosts" came out? It did this on Amiberry - but figured it was some sort of issue with emulation; but it does it on WinUAE too. Can anyone with "real" hardware confirm the speed? I don't feel like dragging the CD32 out and finding the right disc collection |
