Great Software

Tried it last night and it works great on my system. Nice GUI and stable. Comparing with ATC i can say that it is more stable in multiple big files transfers from servers and NAS but it is somewhat slower than ATC in my home network. Great App though and i will be donating to support it as i do with all good efforts.

Stay healthy

Nikos

Thank you for the feedback and support!

BTW. if any of OS4 users here are interested to get both FTPS server and client, and wants to support two programmers with one go, here's an offer for that (valid for a week):

Recomended

After using it for a week and testing it more thoroughly, it now has become my new ftp client and dropped ATC & AMIFTP. My only concern was the speed which i thought it was slower than ATC but after detailed testing, it proved me wrong. Speed is great as well, very fast login (handshake) with servers and transfers (with my roadshow TCP stack) reached 450 -500 cps. Not bad at all!!!

Good to hear that I haven't made much speed tests, but RNOXfer seemed to be about 25% faster than Transfer on MorphOS, and it's been enough to know for me

Fixed some bugs in RNOXfer, so please update and sorry for the inconvenience.

Version 1.2:
- An overlooked debug line broke recursive downloading in v1.1
- Drag & drop failed for icons with no actual file or directory
- Added options to launch external programs after transfers

Hello,
so I finally connected my A1200 to Internet (via V1200) its very fast.
I started using RNOXfer, and I like it very much. I like modern and simple GUI.
I make my FTP server on PC (by Filezilla Server) and shared some folders under it.
I am connecting to my local FTP by RFOXfer to transfer files very fast!

I got a problem, maybe its a bug in RFNXfer or maybe something with my connection. I am using RoadShow.

First:
When my system has just started and connection is stabilized. I can ping, use IBrowse or other internet application witout problems.
But if I run RNOXfer the connection is lost (I can't ping). I have to remove net interface and add it again.
Then the RNOXfer connects to the server.

Second:
When I am connected to the server and I am doing nothinf for let say over 10 minutes,
and then I am trying to download something the connection to server is freezed. The program freezes.
I am then runing another instance of it and connects again.

So, I would like to aks would it be possible to take a look at this problems.
Because RNOXfre is great and modern app that I love to use.

I haven't been able to reproduce your issues, so a bit hard to say what's going on there... I have tested it on my A1200/3.1/Roadshow and have a test server also with Filezilla Server, but when I leave it for longer times, it continues to work still.. and I don't need to restart anything in Roadshow.. it works for me no matter if I've used some other software or not etc.
