Horrible gameplay. There is absolutly no fun playing this game. The gamefield is too limited, sounds and music are irritating. In this game, milking the scores is very easy.

Ahh, New Zealand Story. One of the games that was so cute back then (and still is) .

On my second try I got 81,606 but the game bugged on me - Kiwi somehow dropping off-screen thus disappearing and invulnerable to the hurry up -devil too . I think no way to commit suicide here??

Definitely agree. Played it for an hour over the weekend, hated it.

Looks like I missed a lot of the better games before I discovered EAB

@Bamiga2002: You have two options to go down. The further option (the left option, which you took, forces you to pass the anenome). The earlier option, the right option which you can see in your screen shot in the top right, doesnt take you past the beast.

P.S. is that snow outside your window? I was in Helsinki last week!

Yes I figured this one out later on.
That's snow alright in Jyvaskyla. Can't avoid the reflection taking a picture of the real thing

Damn i love this game... don't think i've played it properly since updating the WHDload slave!

The first time i completed it was on my A500 using a CD32 Competiton Pro pad. Now i'm on fs-uae with a PS3 pad and it's taking a bit of adjusting to.

I making the assumption that using the warps is frowned upon? I cannot see how it can help your score though, as you are effectively missing sections where you will gain score. (especially those warps that skip multiple levels)

Hi Horace, welcome to the competition and it's also great to see you posting on EAB again.

Using warps aren't 'frowned upon', I think because as you say, it's not going to help you score-wise when you miss out entire sections. So if anyone does want to use them for whatever reason then certainly do so - but you won't do yourself many favours

4-4 is a very, very weird level.

Game complete.

IMPORTANT: If you do complete the game, take a screenshot in-game. For some reason, you aren't taken to the highscore table, so you won't get another opportunity to take a picture.

Thanks for the tip. Congrats on a great score and for completing the game

FWIW, I haven't even played this yet, but I do intend to post a score sometime next week.

Use the WHDload version and you will be taken to the high score table after completion and "END" will be displayed as the level.

WHDLoad does look and sound great but I've never used an Amiga HD and I'm not really sure I have the patience to learn how to.

I tried to use my lives more effectively this time. Instead of trying to get to the end of the game, I hung around a bit and explored the levels thereby encountering more baddies and collectables. I didn't actually complete it though.
