I need to reinstall it, it's been long time since I've played it.

Good game for killing time... and building something you don't really need.

Not sure if you tried Starbound, very similar, but with space background, many planets to visit... My daughter has build castles with garden, collected pets etc.

On Battletech, collecting enough heavy mechs for final campaign battle that I have unlocked. Game is giving me warnings that once is started, you can't go back. (not completely true, since game creates save points all the time ) Fun game for strategy fans.

I don't really like where Starbound went. It was very promising in it's earlier "Terraria with an entire universe of planets" stages, but now it is a little too linear for my taste.

The Remasterd Gods On PC is kinda OK Do NOT like what they did with the music tho, Its Just NOT the same. Saying that the game play is kinda OK i guess. Cant Beat The Original Gods.

Hm, I should probably get Gods remastered. I don't like the new looks but you know... not too many good action puzzle platformers out today.

Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair is looking to be a throwback platformer gem, that's a definite one for the Christmas wishlist.

That seems step back in right directions from original Yooka-Laylee. Something like if Donkey Kong Country was released after Donkey Kong 64.

Played repetative Aliens vs. Predator on SNES to end.

Well given I pick up my actual Amiga in December, I've decided to now play ONLY games from the PRE 16 Bit era, between now and then.

So come December, I'll be able to appreciate the "upgrade"

Harder than I thought btw. Nearly purchased a local Atari Jag the other day haha.

Almost as aggravating as ALMOST killing a dragon and then it gets distracted by a rabbit on the other side of the map and disappears.

I was poking my way through the WHDLoad list last night and found a good shooter called Hybris from 1989. The scrolling isn't the smoothest but the game play is well balanced. Good tight shooter.

Lol,

I would often when I start going through old mags from 80s and 90s - play the games from that period. After that exercise even some not so good games are 'upgrade'.

I was a huge Gods fan back in the day , having done a play thru 4.5 times non stop before finally running out of lives.
I bought Gods Remastered and to be honest i think its pretty decent , played it quite a bit on the Xbox ( my pc wont run it )

Music isn't original no , but thats only because he couldn't get the rights to use it, they just plain ignored his attempts at contact.
Press the right stick on xbox and you can play using the original graphics , dont really understand the hate to this remaster as its still Gods, isn't like the original music played while u played the game anyway on the Amiga..

Regarding Gods: I feel seriously sorry for whoever thinks those new graphics are an upgrade. I would have slept better not knowing such abomination even existed.

Couldn't agree more.

The whole thing is rendered, the main sprite looks cheap and moves weird. No attention to detail and no art to it like the original, but then most remakes follow that trashy look now.

Completed Final Fight and Final Fight Guy on SNES. Not so bad port compared to Arcade. At some point will have to play A1200 port.

Gotta agree re the Gods Remastered "upgraded" graphics. They are horrendous and an embarrassment when compared to the originals produced what, nearly 30 years ago!

All those that whine about Gods having terrible scrolling. The remastered version is for you Enjoy!

Serana bugged out ---
Told her to wait...
when I got back - the option to follow was gone !

Eventually fixed her.

Case 4 in Darkside Detective was easy
with 2 mini games...

ok the "only 8 bit era" hasn't started for me yet, as....I got Paranormal Activity for PSVR because it was on special, so figured I'd play that for Haloween and THEN begin my 8 bit only period.

Started playing PA PSVR last night.

I'm a fan of the franchise......the game......gets good reviews.......

.....but not from me.

It has great atmosphere I guess.... but there are so many aspects that ruin the immersion it's not funny. Clipping through walls and objects. Some items being interactive, while other similar items are not.

And dont START the experience by letting me walk straight through objects before I even reach the house, with zero interaction from the environment.

There are some GREAT PSVR titles, especially once you get Move controllers. DoomVR takes on a new lease of life.

But PA.....I'm going to treat it as an "interactive movie tie in experience" to lower my expectations.

I take the above back re Paranormal Activity PSVR.

Just spend another 2 hours "inside" and progressed further.

O.
M.
G!!!!

Some of the above still stands, but it's making up for it in atmosphere.

I love it when a game makes me .....uncomfortable. not wanting to progress to the next room.

Fantastic!
