How do you all install Workbench 3.1.4 - Hstwb vs vanilla

Hey all

This is probably a slightly random question and I guess the answers would be quite subjective. However, I'd love to hear your thoughts and understand how you prepare your Amiga.

I have pretty basic Amiga 1200 with 8mb ram and I've recently upgraded roms to support 3.1.4 and large disks. I have now purchased a 32gb CF card and preparing to install it
My time is fairly limited at the moment, so instead of just jumping in to it, I'm reading up a bit.

So here's my question... how do you usually install/prepare your amigas? Do you go for the self-installing road with hstwb-installer or the vanilla WB 3.1.4 road and install what you need?

I really like the thought of the HSTWB-installer... but I can't help to think it may install a bunch of stuff I may now require?

My first install was the default route, just a clean hd and install from disk. This was just to see how the system runs.
After that i took my old 3.9 install and up/downgraded it to 3.1.4. There is an upgrade script for that on aminet, but as my system is a few years old and customized to my needs i just took it as reference and copied everything by hand.
