Painting components for Amiga

I have an A4000 and the front bezel is nice and white enough but my Gotek and cd drive are a dark beige color.
I have seen posts about fusion paint and other methods for painting the main unit but what is best for these?

I have an airbrush and some acrylic type exterior paints, what about them?
Light coats would seem to be the best especially as to not create issues with door closure on cd drive. I would lose a little information on front but that wouldn't bother me.

Anybody else do this?
