Question Extracting Wav Files

Is there away to extract Wav files from Arcade Roms?

I'm trying to get music from The Crystal Of Kings.

Also, I don't know if this is the correct place to put this in. If not, can a mod direct it to a more proper place.

Hi yugioh and welcome to the EAB
I guess you're using MAME to play 'The Crystal of Kings', so you should have a look here : http://tech.hardedge.org/capturing/mame/

Since the board is dedicated to amiga games, there is not really a place for this.

Anyway, you got two solutions.

- If the game uses a format for which a dedicated sound player has been written, then use that player. Most of them have a dedicated 'record as wav' function or something similar.
Here is a list of various dedicated players

- Otherwise, use the MAME wavwrite function, as detailed here.
If the game has a sound test function in the service mode, then go there and select the track you want to record. This way, you will avoid any additional sound effect.

Yes, there is a sound test in there.

Its like this:
Sound Test
B+C

But I only get one sound from it. (The sound where you put in a credit)
