Looking for AGA patched version of Pop-Up?
I've been trying all kinds of degrader apps etc to get Pop-Up to boot on a A1200 but no luck.
I'm not even sure if they have been cracked or not as the disks are just plain Amiga DOS. Pop-Up (1990)(Infogrames)[cr Defjam] 246 kb Pop-Up (1990)(Infogrames)[cr Defjam][b] 266 kb Pop-Up (1990)(Infogrames)[cr SKR] 213 kb Pop-Up (1990)(Infogrames)[cr SKR][t +10 DC] 270 kb Those are the only TOSEC releases I know about and still no go. |

I haven't got a A1200 so I used WinUAE, default basic A1200 config, with a kickstart 1.3 rom (not relokick or skick) and it works.
EDIT: Just tried Relokick with the same config and it also works. Last edited by Arnie; 01 May 2012 at 19:45. |

Although no Amiga to my knowledge comes with AGA and the 1.3 Kickstart.
Also soft kicking is no good as you can't access the hard disk or pcmcia cf card with a 1.3 kickstart unless it is modified. That is why I tried degrader apps as soft kicking isn't really an effective solution here. |

I had a look at the disk image and it doesn't look like it has protection, although it could be very subtle.
One obvious concern would be the incompatible filenames with Windows when making a WHDLoad .slave with a /data directory. They would have to be renamed. Making it a disk image seems a waste of space/memory as the game is only 303kb big. Unless the image is sized down to fit. Abaddon, I'll beta test it if you take a look at it. Thanks again for the disk image dlfrsilver. |

I haven't released a beta yet. There is still one issue when entering the editor that I have to track down.

I was also curious if there was any music "in game" while playing? not just at the title screen. I Thought the cracked version might be broken.
The Gameboy version has the title music while playing which is quite nice. Keep up the good work Abaddon. |

Hi Abaddon,
are you still working on this installer? If not, could you maybe zone the half-finished thing you have so far? |
