Woody's website (amican) is down
as reported originally here:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=25142 man, how is it there appear to be so many tossers intent on shutting down websites and restricting information about a 20 year old computer? I agree that probably the OS3.9 ROM image should been removed from the website (that should then make the site 'legit' in the eyes of AmiKit), but what a wanker for not asking for the ROM to be removed in the first place? |

Yes it seem that portions of the site has been disabled the kickrom and OS3.9 have been disabled the rest of the site is working, may be amikit will go for amigaPower.tk , bets are now on for the next site swated.

thank Gord for that!
a possibly unpopular suggestion - but it'd sure be nice if there are archives of complete websites such as Amican and B2TR before they disappear entirely. bung 'em on DVD I say (to the sysadmins of respective sites) and torrent them please! As Minuous points out in his arguments with AmiKit - if something isn't distributed then it is not preserved. Having just one accessible copy sitting on one computer is not a good enough backup system. |
