A1200NET A500 case / Eject button not compatible, what floppydrive compliant ?

Hello,

I have an A1200NET replacement case for Amiga 500. My Amiga 500 has a TEAC floppy disk drive but the eject button supplied by A1200NET with the A500 case is not compatible with this drive.

Can you tell me what type of floppy drive is compatible with this case?

Any help is welcome.

Does the Chinon FB-354 fit properly to these new A500 cases or i need to make a custom spacer ??

I have a Chinon FZ354 drive & the black button in my Black A1200net box doesn't fit either!

The real issue here is there were so many variants of Floppy Drive farmed out with various Amiga Models over the years, it's really hard to try a Standardise any particular model, let alone the drive manufacturer.

I doubt 8 different floppy drive buttons would cover the entire Amiga range from C=, let alone the 3rd party aftermarket internal or external affairs.

I have renounced to have a matching button for the floppy drive of my A1200 A1200.net case. Unfortunately, i can't be perfect. It is not easy to find a genuine working drive by now, let alone perfecting the button.

It's the canonical A500 drive, by far one of the most commonly fitted models. Spacers are not needed on the insertion end of the drive, but all A500s need standoffs at the back. You need to have the shorter style standoffs with the FB chinon.
