*WORKING* copy of Max Rally req.

In the current TOSEC (IIRC) the only version of Max Rally is listed as a bad image [b]. When selecting 'Championship', then 'Challenge' mode, the countdown starts for the race, then as the race begins you get a guru.

This is the same with the unofficial CD32 port I found, and the disk version on planet emu. Has anyone got a version in which this mode works?

FYI, the unofficial CD32 port doesn't work 100% because the assigns aren't set. However, even when corrected, this version has the same bug.

I've got it sitting around somewhere but it may well have the same errors. I shall check it!

I've upped an untested HD version to (sorry, the Zone wasn 't working for me):

Hope it does the trick!

DrBong - this is the same version I already have...

Embarassing... Just created a CD32 disc and tried it out on real HW... and it works (although without sound... see http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=537860#post537860)! Must be an emulation bug in winUAE!

Sorry for wasting everyones time. I think this probably means that the [b] should be removed from the TOSEC entry - I've confirmed it works here on real HW and have been playing it all afternoon.

Be advised this game can be coaxed to work on WinUAE AGA by checking match A500 speed box. Can't speak to any performance hit vs. real A1200 but ran quite well for me.
