Stuff I absolutely have no room for, but wish I did. An A500 and acouple of unfinished towers I was working on. Another Amiga 4000 and a Sun 21" Trinitron left over from the Ultra 10 I sold on ebay. If you can find these used any place get one, they are excellent monitors. You'll need an adapter though for VGA.

My rather modest library of books and software. I need more shelves.

My "game room" has the following. It beats the spec of everyone including Oscar

These are rough guesses as my gaming room gets new equipment added every day.

Ready ?

700 Intel Pentium III PC's with 19" monitors.
30 Apple Mac's
730 swivel chairs.
730 PBX digital telephones (the dogs bollox in phones these are!).
12 water cooler machines.
3 coffee machines (it makes tea, and a lovely espresso choc!)
2 vending machines (chocolate, crisps etc..)
1 cash machine
20 laser printers (including 4 colour)
10 photocopiers (1 colour)
2 (possibly more) girls who model topless

Well, I do work in a open plan office (so it's one big room - 3 levels !) and when I'm there I play Windoze Solitaire (a game) most of the day

Forgot I had this book. May be of interest to Frederick and any other Atari fans here. Read what what I found on pages 48 and 49 in the book. Look like iTunes and Windows Media Players screen candy had a begining at Atari.

Moi? I'm from Nawth Caroliney...we smoke rabbit tobaccer here. And straw from the cattle barns.

So the Atari guys were hopped up on dope, eh? That would explain a lot about the stupid-ass ideas that afflicted the ST. I can see those guys all stoned now going "Hey, man...coooool...let's make the function keys crooked...awesome!" or "Colour on the desktop...green is groovy...ugly icons are faaaaar out....and like, how about a fly for the busy pointer...totally awesome, dude! Hey, don't bogart that joint!"

Not quite right. The visualizations you see today in iTunes and winap and Windows Media PLayer, were first tried by Jeff MInter with his VLM program for the JagCd... At least that's what I think.

LOL!!!!!
You wanna hear something sad, Twist? I once went to a pal's house to play cards and heard this one guy, who owned an Atari ST like me, brag about Dungeon Master. I felt embarassed and confronted him: "Amiga will have it soon and do it better. When's the last time you booted Shadow of the Beast?
He shut up.

It's funny...ST guys, like clockwork, all seem to sing that same broken record tune about Dungeon Master. It's a freakin' dungeon game...like many text based ones before it, only it had average graphics attached to it. And RPG elements. What about those elements makes this game such a panacea to them?!?

Once again, if I had the cash I would STILL have my Amiga 1200 all souped up. I would not care if WinUAe ever got AGA chipset routines correct or not!
But dems da breaks. O yeah this guy is a big Bill Gates booster now. Yuk.
Another thing..oh wait..don't wanna get off topic. Headng to the WinFellow section......
UPDATE There IS no WinFellow section anymore. Have they implemented AGA emulation yet?

My game room has sadly now been reduced to my dual P4 system only as I was rapidly running out of room
Think I will have to convert my attic into a game room
Speeded up my system recently, now have another 2 120gig HDD, one for video capture and one completely for virtual memory!
Still cant find a graphics card to out perform my overclocked voodoo 5 5500!! overclocking the VSA 100 chips to 220mhz each! had to slap some new fans on though. Outperforms my geforce 4!

I totally forgot about the fly pointer. I guess they were so stoned they messed up the phrase, "Busy as a....fly?"
Maybe it's a bee, but the pixel and screen depth doesn't do it any justice.

Faster then the GeForce 4 Ti 4600? Wait for the Radeon 9700 Pro. It's pounding the GF4 Ti 4600. Or if you got the cash you can get a Wildcat board or GeForce Quadro.

Do both run under 16 bit while you're testing?

My geforce is in my portable P4 (not a laptop) housed in a very small tower case with a laptop screen attached to the side, runs off 12v or 240v more use than a laptop

Oscar, love the dual G4. Looking at that work of art, I am releived to say, no Winblows peeceeeeeeeeee or OS can come close to having the elegance and stylr of Apple.

I still have yet to come across any PC cases I can buy that have the sort of styling you get from Apple. I do like the aluminum PC cases, but I'll vomit if I have to look at an aluminum case and beige faceplates all day.
