No Access to "The Zone!"?

hi there,

is the access to "The Zone!" possible at the moment?

i am confused:

when trying this:

I get the message: "This does not appear to be a public user group."

so is there any chance to get access?

rotaxt, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Hi rotaxt

I may be only half remembering this, however -

I was under the impression that you need a minimum of 50 posts on the EAB forums
before you are allowed access to "The Zone"

If that is the case - that you'd need another 38 posts to be able to access the area.

(Mods - please correct me if I'm wrong or if the access rules have changed)

There shouldn't be a 50 post minimum to join The Zone! group. The 50 posts are about the file server (but I don't recall the specifics atm).

hello again! please don't get me wrong - i am absolutely not in a rush and sorry to bother again, but meanwhile more than two weeks ago I asked for options how to get access to "The Zone". it seems that other users are affected to. is there any alternative to get in touch which one of the admins here? is that technical problem with the user rights management or possibly the database itself?

It looks like something got broken sometime. Users who had access before still have it, but newcomers don't.

The Zone is mirrored to the EAB file server. Just look there.

Vaguely remember this from a while ago.

I went into the user control panel and joined a user group called "The Zone" to get access.
