Super Cycle possible port from ST ?

Hi all,

I saw all the converted ST versions from IK , Gauntlet , Metrocross and others.

Is there a chance to do SUPER CYCLE ?

How much are you willing to pay?

That's one of my favorite C64 games. Sad to see the Atari ST version is pretty much the same but with SHITTIER music

I wouldn't port this as shovelware as other titles, I would actually like to get a proper Amiga version with overdue 16 bit enhancements.

Which enhancements would you add?
Obviously not too many otherwise you would end up with a game more akin visually to Super Hang On than Super Cycle. Although that would not necessarily be too bad since their gameplay is quite different.

At the very least make it full screen. The lower part of the display with the speed and stuff is totally unnecessary, it's just there to make the actual gameplay screen half the size.
Whatever info from there you need (time, points, which gear you are on) you can solve by overlaying it on top of the actual game screen, like a proper 16 bit game. The speed and tachometers are totally useless!
Obviously it could have a few more colors, a copperlist shading the background scenery would look nice and probably wouldn't be hard to add.

Just a thought I know it's nearly a 1:1 from the C64 but at least I enjoyed the game!

I've no room left to build up my ST in the living room
