I did not bother going outside from current MC movies. Only thing with Punisher I saw was 1st season series few years back. (together with Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage in chronological order)
I did not see latest episodes of either most of them. Why? |

I don't know why, the Punisher movies never really tickled me to watch them.

I'm not really a massive Super Hero movie buff but this was decent I thought:

Dredd was really decent movie, good action and scenery, with not so bad plot, especially if compared to Stalone's version.
![]() @SquawkBox - As kid I never read single issue of Punisher, but Phantom, Mandrake and Asterix were read all. Alan Ford is still my favorite 'super hero', and not sure why, but you remind me of Bob Rock. :P Aftrer we were done with MU movies and 2nd season of Mandalorian, we saw 1st season of Clone Wars (I know, not best timeline ![]() Anyone with 25% of more geek-ness or nerd-ness in himself or who dared to call themselves a gamer - should watch this show. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Anubis; 14 January 2021 at 15:58. |

Re: TBBT.
Gave up after around series 8/9. Sheldon's annoyance, blatant racism, constant inter-personal digs (really, how are they still friends). Might be the 'Yorkshire' in me but it got depressing to watch. They're meant to be genius intellects but constantly make moronic decisions. Lastly, how anyone could choose Penny over Alex is a total mystery to me. |

I've watched a lot of The Big Bang Theory, but not all the seasons; it's not bad and funny on occasions.
A TV series that I like much better though is: How I Met Your Mother ...and oh my; how smoking hot is Robin??? Droooools ![]() |

Blasphemy, discussing tv shows in the movie thread when there is a perfectly fine tv show thread.

Here's how I would rate each Punisher movies : First one featuring Dolph Lundgren 7.5/10 quite fun actually, second one featuring Thomas Jane 7/10 (watch it if you're a Travolta completist, low replay value overall), third (War Zone) 3.5/10 very conventional plot, boring bad guys.

Just watched the remake of Blithe Spirit and as usual with remakes, is an absolute travesty of the original 1945 version starring Rex Harrison.
This and another Rex Harrison classic 'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir' are 2 of my favourites. If they try to remake the latter I might have go 'postal' ;/ |

I watched the Man From U.N.C.L.E., the 2015 Guy Ritchie movie which seems to act as a sort of prequel movie to the series. It's an okay humorous spy thriller but it lacks the oomph that most of his other slick crime action/comedies have, for two good reasons: it's PG-13 and it's based on an existing property which means it doesn't have Ritchie's tell-tale cast of wacky foulmouthed characters and especially bad guys, it's all so... standard. That limits the humor that the movie is allowed to have which is kind of a shame, I don't really see kids flocking to a movie like this based on a classic TV show so it really wasn't necessary to hold punches.

Another movie I wish I haven't seen... nothing new..
The Rhythm Section (2020) Classic revenge movie with Blake Lively and Jude Law, her family killed and unlikely person able to kill all terrorist… if you like to see something with revenge like this, better watch Peppermint (2018) with Jennifer Garner. 5/10 |

Due to Coronavirus, there's really no new, decent movies out
![]() Just watched Monster Hunter, which is based on the Capcom game. Meh, to be expected though. |

Lol, was thinking to purchase it today, but then just too many bad movies in past couple of months, so decided to wait to see reviews. Waiting for Tom and Jerry movie, that can't be bad.

I don't have high hopes for the T&J movie, they'll probably dial down the cartoon violence and then the thing basically loses its reason to exist.
