Did you check if you have mline.library installed in LIBS:?
The above error message mistakenly complains about mled.library, should read mline.library.

Thank you. For some reason I was only missing mline.library but had all other libraries from the main hippo player archive.

I hope I am not overstepping, but would it be possible to look into some other well known replay routines and maybe one day add support for them? For instance:

jd. - Special FX
dw. - David Whittaker (Some work, some don't !)
jpn. + smp. - Jason Page
mcr. + mcs. - Mark Cooksey
mc. - Mark Coocksey (old)
jpold. - Steve Turner

Here is the zip file with these:

http://pc.sux.org/tomcat/HippoKnownNotWorking.zip

Thank you

Of course you can present feature requests I will add these to the TODO-list.
Mark Cooksey was in the works for the previous Hippo version but I couldn't make it work, hopefully for the next one

Wouldn't be nice if the Hippo became a bit more cheerful after all those years in the service?

Hah! I always thought of him to have a neutral face, but I guess you could see it as a frowning face, too.

Haha, he does look like he has a sad face compared to your picture.

@koobo: I love that you're not only updating this, but seem to be really excited about receiving bug reports and adding features.

For what it's worth, it's always been my all-time favorite player and knowing it's getting better is amazing.

Something along these lines available in v2.49.

Some of the files in the zip are now playing ok (in v2.49), still couldn't get Mark Cooksey tunes to work. Will have a third look at some point, maybe

Thank you very much. Great work, also on all bug fixes and added features. Definetly my favorite player for amiga, by far.

Yeah, I don't know what's going on. Maybe there's something in the water?

Just recently I got an idea in the middle of the night about some obscure optimization method to the patternscope. I couldn't sleep, had to think about it the rest of the night!

The one format in my mods collection that I can't seem to play with HiP is Impulse Tracker. Any chance of supporting that down the road?
