Help Needed to identify this scan doubler.
Hi guys,
some months ago i've bought on eBay this scan doubler. It was without the VGA board. So i've decided to built one. The true is that, (i think), i was wrong thinking that is a DCE Scandoubler. If you look at mine, is totally different from the DCE one, so: someone can identify this? Thank you. |

You just need to read from the PCB -DCE Scan Magic...OK, it's a little different from the common pics.

That's a DCE ScanMagic
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/scanmagicint Your version has the RAM chips that tell you this is also the flickerfixer version. I used to have the exact same one I think. [edit] hmmm , maybe since the PCB is different to what is pictured in the Hardware Book, yours might not do flickerfixing. Have you tried an interlaced mode? |

I suppose as it doesn't have empty space for memory chips it should FliFi, too.

My problem is that it's without the VGA Board terminal. I've tried to follow some schematics, based on the Flicker version, but it doesn't work. I need a correct pin out...

I suppose it's the same as in other FliFis and CVPPC as they all tend to have 10pin IDC cables.
Here is something about: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=259283 or http://us4.aminet.net/aminet/docs/ha...ion-2-SVGA.jpg |
