recommend a monitor for use with Indivision AGA Mk2

Hi,

as per the title, can anyone recommend a monitor for use with Indivision AGA Mk2. At present I have an old Xerox 17" LCD monitor, but its pretty useless at displaying anything other than Workbench. Few screen modes created using the latest config utility are supported on the display. Games flicker horribly, and the colours are very washed out.

As a result I'm still mainly using my old Microvitec 1438 CRT.

I'm mainly using the Amiga for games, so the less flicker the better

Also, anyone able to tell me the difference between the Indivison AGA Mk2, and the Mk2cr?

I personally use a wide screen Asus monitor for testing Amiga boards but for my A2000 I use a Samsung 957DF via Eyetech EZ-VGA, soon to be via Indivision ECS.

I have a good picture on my Dell 2408WFP using DVI, but I think most monitors should give you a decent result using the new core.

Mk2 and Mk2cr are identical feature-wise, but the cr has a different/smaller PCB and a different cable/plug (cr = cost reduced).

It works perfectly here on my Samsung SyncMaster 27" LS27A550HS via HDMI input (using a DVI-HDMI cable connected to an HDMI switch with remote control).

I have the CR version so I used superglue to put the DVI plug on the case so that you can easily connect the monitor cable to it. Works as it should.
