Sold: Blizzard PPC 060 with PPC running at 330MHz
Hi,
After my experimets are quite sucessful, I wold like to sell two of of 3 od my Blizzard PPC cards wich I've upgraded recently. Please see thread for more info: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=50309 I have cards with following config: 1) Blizzard PPC 060@66MHz/PPC@330MHz no SCSI no box no manual 2) Blizzard PPC 060@50MHz/PPC@330MHz with onboard SCSI + SCSI cables + original box + orginal manual + original install floppies + unfilled registration card 3) Blizzard PPC 060@50MHz/PPC@330MHz with onboard SCSI + SCSI cables, no original box, no orginal manual, no original install floppies, no registration card RAM Memory configrations: 1) 2x64MB 60ns Kingston one sided working at 66MHz 2) 2x32MB 60ns (Samsung as far as I remember, but not 100% sure) double sided working at 66MHz 3) 2x32MB 60ns (Samsung as far as I remember, but not 100% sure) double sided working at 66MHz As I need money fo my future projects (Cybarstorm upgrade) and having in mind that cards with such config are quite rare, I'm expecting to get at least 650EUR for one card. Added: Proof that cards are working stable with 060@72MHz/PPc@330MHz with onboard SCSI working: [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by stachu100; 05 March 2010 at 18:52. Reason: Movie added |

It was necessary to change "Sync Period" for each device to 5MHz.

Bought, paid for, and have in my sweaty paws two Pimped out Blizzys. Thank you very much.
I have to give Stan plaudits, he was professional, helpful and very understanding. Not only did he help me with the card I wished to buy from him, he was very helpful in upgrading and testing the card I sent him for upgrade I was kept appraised at every stage of the upgrade and sale of exactly what was going on, and of how any problems were being dealt with. His communications were first class and he was more than happy to answer any questions. He provided copious photo images and video footage with his progress updates, that does help a great deal. If you are considering making a purchase or are hankering after an upgrade, I can thoroughly recommend him. Thanks once again, it's been a real pleasure. |

@r0jaws:
Thank you very much for these warm words :-) It was a pleasure to do this upgrade for you. It's not easy to send your own personal treasure to unknown person and in addition to send a lot of money without even seen the person face to face! Thanks again! |

How much would you charge (if you are willing), to upgrade a PPC card in the same way including 040->060 (assuming the 060 chip was supplied by me) ?
