What is the best Windows version to run WinUAE ?

Hi there.
I was wondering what is the best Windows OS to run our favourite program.

I'm still using Windows XP Home Edition 32bit although my hardware isn't so obsolete.
I have got very good performance already but I don't know if WinUAE will remain compatible with such old system.
In the beta2.6 thread I also read that XP have got some problem that the newer Windows OS (like 7 or 8) don't have running WinUAE, for such memory address and so on.

Thanks.
