WinUAE HDD boot ok, but not on real A600
Hi,
I have a copied an Amiga 3000 drive, to a flash card, using HDClone. The flash card boots ok on WinUAE - the same as the original SCSI drive does. When I boot to workbench first, I can browse the files on the flash card, again the same as I could with the original drive and a HDF I made from it. So I know the flash card file structure is good. When I put it in the Amiga 600 via a PCMCIA card adapter, it does not recognize the drive ? I have tried the flash card back in WinUAE, on an A600 config, as well as an A3000 config - both load it ok . Doe anyone one know why I cant view it on my A600 ? I need to be able to modify the files - and I think this is the only way! Thanks Simon |

You should be able to use this to mount the drive in workbench to access the files. Alternatively you can get a CF-IDE adapter, connect it to the internal IDE port and boot from it. You won't need any additional drivers then. |
