Help to identify SIMM module
I got one SIMM memory module, and I would like to know its capacity. It has 12 memory chips installed, 4 on one side and 8 on other. On these chips there is written:
RAMS 9708 DS4749 EDO-60 Thats all. I am not able to google anything about those chips. I tried to put it in my M-Tec 1230/28 accelerator, and after the boot is shows 8MB fast, but this M-Tec has maximum 8mb to work with. Beside this, my Amiga fails during the boot with that SIMM and I must boot without startup-sequence, while it works normally with my current 8MB SIMM that I use daily. Does anyone know how to let know more about? |
