what game was this?
hello all
been going nuts trying to remember the name of one of the Amiga FPS games I know it wasn't gloom or either of the alien breed 3d games. it wasn't behind the iron gate either what I can remember about it was that it had really nicely shaded robots and it was bloody hard and I'm sure that a demo was on an Amiga Format cover disk any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance |

thanks for the speedy reply
but no that wasn't it it was a proper FPS like gloom (more like AB:TKG really) with full movement and I think the robots were coloured depending on their behaviour |

Impressive game is Breathless.... if you had the right real Amiga specs. WinUAE does a very good job though! Now then....if only I could do better on Guess the Screenshot 5 thread! |

my A1200 has an 040 and an extra 16MB of RAM and can just about manage breathless but with winuae I should be able to play on the highest settings possible and have a chance of completing it

thats very odd, i had it going on my 030/50 back then with only about 1 setting away from full screen and it was silky smooth. I think it has the 1x1 pixel option too that game, and i had that set at its highest too!.. Those blizzard 030 cards were magic!.
I remember staying home on New Years Eve just to keep playing this game too. Last edited by blade002; 28 June 2006 at 14:42. |

I've only ever had the basic A500, then the A1200 years ago and there were quite a few games that required accelerators/extra memory, etc I so wanted to play....now finally, after a looong gap, my wish to play these has finally come true with the brilliant WinUAE!
