Starting out in C
Hi Guys,
I would like to know where to start with C for the Amiga 500. Basically, I would like to know about an easy compiler to start with and samples that can do 2D graphics such as setting pixels, drawing lines, and printing text to the screen. Thanks |

easier to start out on a modern machine with an easy to use gui like netbeans c/c++ edition.
you can cross compile with vbcc and use uae for testing then move it to a real machine. developing C on a real machine is a pain in the arse. check out bombjack.org/commodore for some C books doing basic graphics and intuition. |

I don't have a real Amiga, running with an emulator is the end result I want,
but the emulator being limited to A500 memory and chipset. I'll checkout the link |
