Cortex FE init error
Hi there,
after programming my gotek floppy without issues, I try to boot from real Amiga 1200 and appear the following error message :"Cortex FE Init Error". IS this an hardware erro or a software one? THX. Last edited by TCD; 24 April 2015 at 15:21. |

I get the same error on my Gotek. However, after the initial boot, if I soft reset the machine it then works. Initially it had 1.04 FW, I upgraded it to the latest 1.05...still the same issue. As mine is simply annoying, I havent searched any further for an answer.
If you soft reset the machine, does it then work OK? |

I had that error for a while, then I just flashed the gotek again, with the same firmware, and never got the error again.
Might be a coïncidence, but worth a try. Last edited by Michel; 04 May 2015 at 20:14. |
