a1200 press 3 keys ( A S D ) reset ??

ı press on keyboard ASD my a1200 reset why ?

Are you using a Lyra KB adapter perhaps? If not, then clean and re-seat the A1200 keyboard ribbon to the mobo.

3 keys at the same time pressing the reset

Open up your Amiga and check the ribbon and the connector

a1200 key and reset

3 keys at the same time puts pressure cause the reset horizontally aligned
sample
asd reset
dfg reset
ASJ reset (the same horizontal alignment)
leg
asw not reset (w up line)
dft not reset (t up line)
etc. .......
why?
I clean rebbon but not change
The only keys pressed all the way, trying to

can you check the traces on the motherboard around the keyboard connector and the keyboard encoder,and check for capacitor leakage around the same area(eaten through traces etc)

check solder connections on the keyboard ic,make sure all the traces go to the place there ment to go.


maybe the mods can move this thread to hardware support,for a better response.

Maybe the RF shielding touches the floppy drive when keyboard is pressed. Something causes a short maybe. How about if you remove the RF shielding?

@herakleus,

You have now started three threads in the support.Hardware forum in connection with this A1200 keyboard problem. They have now all been merged into this (the first one).

It is sufficient to bump this thread if you don't get any help after a few days. If you still need further help, then please also try to provide more information. It is quite useless just to keep repeating the same request.
