strain no..... more like lubricate....
and you will need some ice-cream..... flavour wont matter..... its for your arse! mind you saying all that I have seen a couple of Apollos go for UNDER £200, infact I saw one a couple of months ago sell for £155 inc P&P... indeed i was shocked.... Another thing though m8y, Is you bussboard, depending on what type means you could have a different processor card, I have a Micronick 686.r6 wich allows me to use A3000/A4000 CPU's (and some zorro ports at Z3 speed too but still no dma bah! ) but I can use a Cyberstorm Mk2. |

I'm going to be fitting the accelerator to a Towered A1200... I guess I should have mentioned that... It wil have a Mediator SX fitted in the tower.
Zetr0 - let me know if you stumble across anything in your ebay travels will you please... cheers Peter |

They seem a little price to me... But if you want them enough and have the money then go for it
Don't forget, things are only really worth what you'll pay for them... If you're thinking "I don't want to spend that much", then I wouldn't bother, something cheaper will come along at some point |

heys pete, this might be of interest..
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Amiga-1200-pha...QQcmdZViewItem its an 040 but these can be re-worked to 060's without too much fuss... however I will say that it may not be able to be fixed. -------------------- this can be re-worked to an 060 as well (need one of these first though) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/A1200-Amiga-12...QQcmdZViewItem and either this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Amiga-1200-Acc...QQcmdZViewItem or this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Apollo-1240-40...QQcmdZViewItem ----------------- I shall keep my eyes peeled |
