Huenison released

Putting together elements from Arkanoid, Decathlon, Dyna Blaster, Impossible Mission, Oil's Well, Pac-Man, Pang, Qix, Slam Tilt, Space Invaders, Tetris and Vital Light, Huenison is a frantic-paced hybrid of shoot 'em up and colour-matching puzzle. All in retro visuals and synthetic sonorities that recall the revered Commodore 64's SID chip.
Piloting a small mobile cannon back and forth across the bottom of a well, you must cycle through your six coloured beams, firing at the descending onslaught of corresponding coloured bricks. Missed shots bring the deadly zapper closer to your cannon, and missed bricks raise the ground they touch. But this is just to begin with.

With 25 levels, 9 different game modes, kick-ass chiptunes and a ludicrous variety of brick types, Huenison is all about racking up bonuses and score chaining. Your goal? To achieve the top position on the online highscore table and, while at it, to save the world!

Almost two years in development, Huenison was designed and coded for AmigaOS 4 and Windows, and has also been tested and proven to run on Linux and MacOS through Wine.

The demo gets you about a fifth of the full game for free, just enough to give a taster of the retro-gaming chaos to follow!

just ordered an Amiga version for me and a Windows version for a buddy

Simone, big time congrats on making yet another original game which is like a beam of sunshine when compared to modern games which play all the same to me. Your games for the mighty 64, classic Amiga, AmigaOS4.x make me smile much like when I was a star struck boy staring in awe in front of my all time favourite computers

Although not ideal you can always play via Windows or Linux and MacOS through Wine.

Thanks for taking the burden of pronouncing the swearwords

@Predseda

If you have a capable machine, try the demo: maybe you'll get involved enough to endure the though of playing on a non-Amiga-like machine

Hi all,

quite simply, I'd like to humbly ask you: could you consider voting for Huenison at the 2013 Indie of the Year Awards? The nominations phase has begun just today.
If you think Huenison deserves it, it's sufficient to:
1. go to http://www.indiedb.com/games/huenison;
2. click the "VOTE" button.
Quick, anonymous and free (and non-binding: you can vote as many games as you want)!
And if you really like Huenison, you could also spread the word

The demo is great, but I would need PayPal for payment from Germany and don´t like that. I mostly use SEPA payment for international transactions, but since the price is listed in British Pounds, that wouldn´t work anyway, I guess?

Will the game be available on Amazon or elsewhere outside U.K. some day?

Anyway, I voted for you in the competition you announced.

Not Amazon, but the game at the moment is available also on Desura and IndieGameStand, and the latter supports payments through Amazon (note: those portals sell the Windows version only: if you need the AmigaOS 4 one, just contact me by email after the purchase).
For completeness, if you are referring to a SEPA bank wire transfer, I'm afraid you won't have much luck with that; but if you have the possibility to use a credit card, you can still pay through PayPal: they act as an intermediary, so you wouldn't need to have an account.

That's great, thanks a lot!
