can anyone Test it? AmigaEMS102 for Bridgeboard

Hi, here is a AmigaEMS Version without Kb limitation. I found this Version on the Web. When you install it you have to make a empty file and call it "Babel.key" an put it into S:

I search al long Time the Autor to get a key but i dont find him.

What do this tool? For bridgeboard Users to Share Amiga Ram as EMS Memory for the Bridgeboard. The Shareware Version was limited to a few Kilobytes. This Version not so i hope. I cant test it by myself because my Bridgeboard is on the Way from USA to me

A2386 Users need a Update from Aminet.

i have no hardware to test it, but i found the aminet package with all files and readme (AMEMS102.LHA) .

the binary in the patched version is different, compared to the normal aminet release. one BNE was changed into a NOP command. perhaps it will work without a real keyfile this way. cannot find a babel.key anywhere.

while searching i found a german book for the bridgeboards. usefull i guess.

I installed this hoping to have some extra EMS for my 286 bridgeboard but it still says it's unregistered and won't give me more than 384KB.

If there's a keyfile around (I know the author has been unreachable for 20 years) I'd love to have it. I've got many talents but cracking isn't among them.

not tested, but thanks for the file.

#1) here is the diff of 101 original and the cracked on - the crack will patch the orihinal amigaEMS binary.
so maybe someone with a hexeditor can create a fix for version 1.02.
i guess the changes between 1.02 and 1.01 wont be that massive

I totally forgot about this! I think we came up with the same solution, hex editing the demo EMS page value. I’ll check it out in my A2000 later.

At least the 101 crack is not only a changed page max. It unlocks the full version with all features.
