Is it possible to make a game see more than two drives?
If im playing on Winuae or my real amiga with its 3 external Cumana drives it still can be very annoying when a game such as Shadow Fighter, Street fighter II, Street fighter the new challengers A500 version, etc only see 2 drives when they have 4 disks.
The same goes for a lot of games that have 2 disks but only see DF0. If games can be cracked is it possible for them to be altered in anyway so they can see the extra drives? |

I think there is no crack that can allow using external drive. Some games use additional memory to minimize disk swapping. Some games use first disk only once so 2nd and 3rd disks may stay in drives.

update: this crashed a lot for me in under Android emu UAE4ALL. Will try it on Winuae and my real Amigas when I get the chance. Do you know if a similar cracked version for Super Street Fighter II was released? The AGA version was HD installable but the A500 wasn't and could only use 2 drives. Yes I have that on my A1200. Just thought it would be nice to have it as a disk version on my A500. Anyways.. tested it on Winuae.. Seemed to be ok so far. Might just be a problem with UAE4ALL on my phone.

It can but I know only one for Street Fighter 2. There is no indication in TOSEC (or I can not recognize it).

Can't remember the name of the game now but one cracked by Galahad was made to work with 2 drives where the original would only use 1 drive.
