Hunt for Red October (Grandslam) and state-saving in pause mode

Hi,

unlike 1000 other games, this game does not like pause mode. (->zone)
Usually it's better to pause the game first when saving state because a fraction of a second can mean a long period of time in very fast action sequences.

Reproduction of the bug as follows:
- Make your way through the intro, start the game, wait until you see the parachute scene
- PAUSE emulation with the Pause key
- QUICK save the state as you would normally do (END+SHIFT+numeric key)

- Now restore the state (END+numeric key).
- You have provoked an address error.

Should be reproducible in 100% of cases.
Would be nice if this could be fixed, thanks.

You mean the one I just broke by using the pause mode?
OK, I'm going to post two. One sane one, and the other with the bug triggered.

Cycle-exact or non-cycle exact mode used?

Both ways 'round. First I had CE, but then I tried without and could also trigger the address error issue.
Appears to be independent of CE on or off.

BTW you can also trigger the issue by using Turbo mode with the floppy on bootup, then (if you are tired of waiting) warp mode. 800% works fine, even in combination with warp mode.
